Our Growing Meadow
Temperate rainforests once covered a fifth of the UK—now, only 1% remains. These rare forests are vital for wildlife and climate, naturally absorbing Co2.
We’re committed to restoring them. Once Fulwood Meadow is fully planted, we’ll take on more land—one tree at a time, reducing our impact on the planet.

Rewilding UK Rainforests
Every hire with VI Rental helps restore the UK rainforest. With each booking, you’ll support tree planting at our meadow in Exmoor, boosting native rainforests and reducing your production's carbon footprint.

How it Works
The film and TV industry has a significant carbon footprint-just one hour of scripted TV drama can emit 77 metric tons of Co2!
When you hire production equipment from VI Rental, we’ll plant native trees at Fulwood Meadow to help offset that impact.
This helps to fight the climate crisis by reducing Co2 in our atmosphere and instantly improving the carbon footprint of your production.
1. You Rent Kit
When your kit rental is confirmed, we'll calculate your kit's average Co2 emissions by using the kit weight and distance travelled.
2. We Plant Trees
We'll then assign and plant a specific number of trees to offset your kit's Co2 emissions.
3. We Help Save the Planet
In addition to making your production's kit hire carbon neutral, you've also contributed to the regeneration of the UK temperate rainforest.
